The Minister of Mines and Petroleum welcomed the officials of Azizi Group and stated that Afghanistan possesses abundant natural gas reserves and coal resources, if these resources are utilized effectively and in accordance with standard practices in the electricity generation sector, it would significantly contribute to economic growth, create employment opportunities, and further strengthen the country's capacity to meet its energy needs.
