Selection Committee held a meeting to appoint members of the Mines Technical Committee

The meeting chaired by Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum was aimed to appoint members of the Mines Technical Committee. Beside MoMP officials, the meeting was attended by representatives from Administrative Office of the President, Ministries of Finance, Economy and Independent Administration Reform and Civil Services Commission.

Mr. Haroon Chakhansori stressed on the capacities of the – to be selected - committee members and said that the main goal is to select members with capacity, while keep in mind national interests and the needs of mining sector.

It was decided in the meeting that the recruitment process of the Mining Technical Committee members should be carried out with the cooperation of Independent Administration Reform and Civil Services Commission.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Mining Technical Committee will have 5 appointed members from legal, financial and technical fields.
