Mr.Ahmad Jan, Senior Advisor of the Ministry, in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Israel, General Director of Petroleum, and members of the technical committee, met on Sunday, 4/12/2026, with the Chief

Executive Officer of TNG Company from the Republic of Tataristan and his accompanying delegation in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

At first, the guests were warmly welcomed, and both sides discussed the existing investment opportunities in the country’s oil and gas resources.

emphasizing the provision of a suitable environment and nationwide security. They also exchanged views, particularly on cooperation in the Amu Darya oil basin, the rehabilitation of oil stations in the Angot, Qashqari, and Zamradsai areas. 

Furthermore, the company delivered a comprehensive informational presentation on the subject.

The company also expressed its readiness to support the capacity building of engineers in the oil sector.

Subsequently, the Senior Advisor of the Ministry expressed his satisfaction and announced his readiness for joint cooperation.
