Deputy Minister of Mines and Petroleum Meets with President of the Afghanistan–United States Joint Chamber of Commerce

Mr. Abdulrahman Qanit, Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs, met with Mr. Jeffrey Grigo, President of the Afghanistan–United States Joint Chamber of Commerce, in his office on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
During the meeting, the President of the Chamber expressed his commitment to support efforts aimed at attracting and expanding investment in Afghanistan’s mining sector.
The Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs welcomed their interest and assured them that, in accordance with the Mining Law and relevant procedures, the Ministry will provide the necessary facilitation to attract investment by reputable companies in the country’s mining sector.
