In order for democracy to survive and thrive, access to information must be easier and more secure for the people and it’s also necessary for people to realize their needs in all governmental programs through comprehensive information.

The resources of Afghanistan are the assets of the Afghan people. So, MoMP is committed to the principle of accountability in order to ensure transparency. For this reason, it’s our responsibility and our national mission to provide timely and accurate information to the people about any developments, innovations, new programs and projects in the sector.

Ministry’s leadership on the occasion of World Access to Information Day, prays for the souls of all media martyrs and also supports all national and international principles of freedom of expression and access to information.
