Public Awareness Workshop on Extractive Industries Transparency Presented in Bamyan Province

The two-day workshop focused on local people's participation in mining, social monitoring, given priorities to the local people in job opportunities and the negative impacts on environment, funded by GIZ office and by the technical support of Afghanistan's Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (AEITI) , was presented to 40 participants. 

 

The participants of the workshop were from Bamyan, Daikundi, Ghor and the members of the local councils of Hajigak Mine, praised the achievements of such workshops and said that the presentation of such workshops contribute to the social development of mining areas.
