Team (3) activities of the directorate of Survey and Topography, MoMP, about the survey of sources of construction material in Khost province

To attract investment in exploitation of mineral resources, job creation and increase in country’s national revenue, Ministry of Mines and Petroleum surveyed the sources of construction material in Khost province.

Construction material (limestone) of Gurbuz district includes the following areas: Maidani, Garam, Gidno village, Madikhail (1 & 2) and Khawni Sam.

Also, the preliminary survey of the Copper area of Toor Ghar in Tanai district, Nephrite area of Ghbargai in Spira district and limestone of Sara Oba area was also completed.

Key activities of the team include geological topography on the scale of 1:110000, 1:25000 and taking samples for laboratory analysis.
