MoMP presented activity report to the President

In a series of meetings with the cabinet members and provincial governors to create mobility in ministries and provinces, President Ashraf Ghani met with the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Muhammad Haroon Chakhansori.

Mr. Chakhansori shared his report about increased mobility, employment opportunities and transparency in the Ministry.

Acting Minister further give information about the leadership and coordination, Policy and legal framework, organizational structure, precious and semi-precious stones, increased revenue, current contracts, legalization of the mines extraction, Ainak copper mine, Survey, Nangrahar Talk, huge mining and hydrocarbon projects in the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.  

After hearing the report, President Ashraf Ghani appreciated the two months achievements of MoMP and give necessary instructions for creating further mobility in the ministry. 

At the end Mr. Haroon Chakhansori said that their Ministry have categorized their priorities and legal framework and will soon provide a report to the president.
