Muhammad Haroon Chakhansuri: Without Access to Information and Accurate Mining Analysis, We would not be Able to utilize Mining Resources effectively
Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Muhammad Haroon Chakhansuri, introduced Noorullah Stanikzai, for the Deputy Minister of Survey and Geology of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum this afternoon.
In the ceremony, Ahmad Javed Rasooli, Director of the National Agency for Statistics and Information, Deputy Ministers of MoMP and the Directors of MoMP and National Statistics and Information Agency were participated.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Muhammad Hamid Yousufi, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of MoMP, read the presidential decree on the appointment of Noorllah Stanikzai.
Next the Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Muhammad Haroon Chakhansuri, beside congratulating to the new Deputy Minister of Survey and Geology, Noorullah Stanikzai, also thanked from the former Deputy Minister of Survey and Geology, Hussain Dad Shafai, for serving the sector and wish him more success.
Mr. Chakhansuri said, the collection, compilation and analysis of Information and Identifying gaps through geographical information by coherent and accurate programs, is one of the basic functions of the Deputy of Survey Geology. Our main responsibility is to create comprehensive and unified system for the management of geological data collection and to analyze and evaluate information obtained from exploratory activities for the development and utilization of the extractive industries.
Next Ahmad Javed Rasooli, Director of the National Agency for Statistics and Information, spoke and congratulated to Noorullah Stanikzai on his appointment as the Deputy Minister of Survey Geology at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and wished him many more success.
After that, Hussain Dad Shafai, former Deputy Minister of Survey Geology, spoke and thanked the government’s confidence and wished Stanekzai more success. Paying attention and trust on Afghan youth, became possible in the current system of Afghan government and history of the country would witness, he added.
Mr. Stanikzai, the newly appointed Deputy of Survey and Geology, thanked for the trust of government and leadership of MoMP, and provided comprehensive information in the fields of technical capacity building, improving capacity building packages, improving the conditions of laboratories, utilizing new technologies, and also presented comprehensive information in the fields of technical and geology survey communication with the countries in the region.
At the end of the session, in recognition to Hussain Dad Shafai's services, leadership of the MoMP, presented him a special gift, which reflects the country's Extractive Industries Sector.
