M.Haroon Chakhansuri: MoMP will create fundamental mobility in technical, legal, economic and social aspects of TAPI project to prepare ground for the construction work

M.Haroon Chakhansuri, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum held an introductory meeting via video conference with TAPI pipeline CEO M.Murad Amanov and discussed land acquisition on the pipeline route, gas utilization and social and economic aspects of the project.

Mr. Chakhansuri said: to bring more mobility in technical, legal, economic and social aspects, MoMP- as the main partner of the TAPI project in Afghanistan- will bring more coordination among partners to pave the way for rapid implementation of the project. He also added that the construction work of the project should start according to the timeline.

“We will coordinate with the Ministry of Urban Development and Land about the land acquisition on the pipeline route and will work for the citizen’s engagement for social affairs of the project through development councils and citizen charter program”, he said.
