The 50th Meeting of the Multilateral Group of MSG was held

The 50th meeting of the Multilateral Group, under the administration of Mohammad Atiq Zaki, Deputy Minister for Policy and Extractive Facilitation Programs of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, was held in the Ministry’s Museum this morning.

The meeting was held to discuss on the progress in the Annual Report, Work and Action Plan, Job Description, Operational Procedure and Relation Strategy.

Mr. Zaki Deputy Minister of MoMP, besides welcoming to the participants said, the Multilateral Group has recently made good progress in ensuring Transparency in Revenue Collection, Disclosure of Contracts and Beneficiary Owners’ Information and for the Preparation of AEITI Reports.

Mr. Zaki urged from the group members to accomplish their responsibilities properly, in order to prevent from any kind of delaying in the EITI commitments process.

At the end of the meeting, decision was held that the members of Multilateral Group should study the mentioned documents, in order to incorporate their views in the final documents of the next week submission.
