The problems and suggestions of Nangrahar Talc investors and Companies were heard

According to the decision made by High Economic Council (HEC) on November 18, 2020, Ministry of Mines and Petroleum in coordination with Afghanistan Investment Facilitation Unit and Afghanistan Chambers Federation were tasked to organize regular meetings on the Nangrahar Talc issues, and provide its report with specific suggestions to the next HEC meeting.  

Therefore, a meeting was held at MoMP with the participation of ministry officials, Head of Afghanistan Investment Facilitation Unit, Head of Afghanistan Chambers Federation, Head of Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, Tribal elders from Nangrahar and members of the Talc Investor’s Union.

The meeting discussed in details the problems of Talc investors, while a list of suggestions for solving the problems was prepared, and will be presented to the High Economic Council.
