To lead, organize, and supervise all technical aspects related to plans, projects, surveys, production, operations, and development of oil and gas resources in the country, ensuring effective management for sustainable and safe utilization of these resources.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all technical departments related to the oil and gas sector, including exploration, production, transportation, refining, storage, and distribution.

2. Provide technical oversight of Amu Darya oil field projects and oil & gas contracts.

3. Ensure the implementation of international standard methods in geophysical, geological surveys and drilling operations.

4. Provide technical supervision of operational areas, if applicable.

5. Evaluate the quality of drilling operations, well completion, production, and extraction.

6. Review and approve technical documents, field reports, log data, cores, well tests, and other related data.

7. Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing oil and gas policies, strategies, and regulations.

8. Prepare short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans for oil and gas sector development.

9. Propose new projects and provide technical plans for resource development.

10. Participate in technical negotiations related to oil and gas contracts.

11. Lead technical meetings with national and international institutions.

12. Assess environmental impacts of projects and provide advice to minimize risks.

13. Prepare and submit comprehensive technical reports to the Ministry.

14. Provide professional and technical advice to ministry leadership for critical decision-making.

15. Present findings, challenges, recommendations, and project progress.

16. Prepare exploration and production plans for oil and gas extraction.

Employment Requirements:

• Minimum Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geophysics, or related field.

• At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas projects.

• Strong technical project management skills and familiarity with modern oil and gas programs.

• Proficiency in specialized software such as Petrel, Eclipse, GeoFrame, OFM, GIS, etc.

• Leadership, decision-making, resource management, and reporting skills.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent ability to analyze technical data and manage complex information.

• Ability to work in challenging conditions and travel frequently to provinces.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

• Adherence to professional ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
