Engineering Manager for Amu Darya Oil Project

Job Summary
To manage and control all engineering activities including but not limited to Design, Construction and Pipeline  in the Amu Darya Oil Project; ensure engineering standards, maintain quality of work, and implement the project in accordance with the norms, policies, and objectives of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare technical, operational, and road construction plans and design for the project.
2. Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve extraction, production, and project infrastructure.
3. Identify and manage project technical risks.
4. Supervise construction works, infrastructure, surface, and subsurface facilities of the project.
5. Approve reports, forms, and technical documents at various stages of the project.
6. Participate in technical meetings, provide engineering advice, and submit standard reports.
7. Monitor the implementation of technical and construction contracts.
8. Supervise, control, and provide technical support to field teams at operational sites (Well Sites, CPF, Pipelines, Roads, etc.).
9. Review project progress and analyze technical issues.
10. Provide engineering solutions to prevent delays and cost overruns.
11. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to the Technical Deputy of the project and the Ministry.
12. Provide technical analyses to support leadership decision-making.
13. Oversee construction, installation and laying methods for pipeline.
14. Document all activities and maintain the project’s technical archive.
15. Perform other duties as required to achieve departmental objectives.

Skills and Competencies:

• Full expertise in oil engineering, drilling, construction, and related infrastructure.
• Ability to lead technical teams and make decisions under critical conditions.
• Familiarity with technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, MS Project, etc.).

Employment Requirements (according to NTA guidelines):
Field of Study:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
• Work Experience: 5 years for Master’s degree holders, 7 years for Bachelor’s degree holders in large-scale oil, gas, or construction projects.
• Ability to travel and work in operational areas.
