- Review existing exploration and production data, providing updated geological models.
- Advice on well placement, drilling targets, and work over opportunities based on subsurface interpretation.
- Provide technical reports, maps, and presentations for decision-making.
- Train and mentor national geoscientists and technical staff within the Ministry.
4. Required Qualifications and Education
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Geology, Geophysics, or Earth Sciences
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in oil and gas exploration and production.
- Strong background in seismic interpretation, geological modeling, and reservoir characterization.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, GeoFrame, or equivalent).
- Experience in gas field exploration and development preferred.
