Job Summary:

Cooperation with Planning Management to obtain Procurement Plans from the central directorate and the second units Procurement Directorate for the general plan and getting obtain approval of H.E Minister and send to National Procurement Authorities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1- Cooperation with Planning Management to obtain Procurement Plans of construction from the central directorate and the second units Procurement Directorate for the general plan and getting obtain approval.

2- Getting the desired result from daily routines and ease in the works to avoid

difficulties in advance of it.

3- Organize form, memos, letters, etc in soft for procurement department and to share with all engaged departments to support them in operation and procurement sectors.

4- Planning, Designing and conducting short-, medium- and long-term procurement training programs for qualified staff within and outside the ministry.

5- Share and coordinate operation and administrative works with procurement director, prepare reports on carry out the responsibilities in given time.

6- Arrange and sequence procurement orders construction based for all procurement departments to meet their necessary requirement on time.

7- Co-ordination and sharing experience and accomplishment with central departments and other units to build capacity and empower employees.

8- Coordinate and collaborate with all Procurement directorates to carry out and accelerate operation and procurement works all construction matter.

9- The execution of all executed tasks of the Procurement Department in construction section in coordination with other staff, compliance with the principles and laws of the country and the establishment of good relations with the Afghanistan national procurement Authorities.

10- Experiences learned from the work done in the relevant office and obtaining the desired results from it during the implementation process.

11- Any other tasks assigned by the Procurement Director according to law and regulation.

Job Location:

Afghanistan, Kabul

Qualifications:

University degree in Procurement, Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economy, Civil Engineer or related subject; Master’s preferable.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.

The candidate must have excellent analytical and drafting skills, ability to listen, be a team player as well as having management and leadership skills.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Able to produce reports and other standards documents up to a professional standard Fluency in English (written and spoken), Pashto and Dari, local language proficiency is desirable.
