Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of MoMP Authority/Chief of staff, Executive Officer is responsible for the functions related to the Executive operations of the MoMP Authority, including typically function as support to high level executives and managers. He/she undertake a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities in a number of different areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop an action plan on executing of all MoMP Authority activities.

Managing the day-to-day operations of the office.

Organizing and maintaining files and records.

Planning and scheduling meetings, appointments and events.

Reviewing Reports and analyzing it for MoMP Authority.

Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations.

Making travel and guest arrangements.

Helps the MoMP works values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals.

Helps the MoMP Authority monitor and evaluate Directorate’s relevancy to the activities, its effectiveness, and its results.

Keeps the Minister  fully informed on the condition of day to day and the future activities of MoMP and on all the important factors.

Identifies problems and opportunities in day to day activities and addresses them; brings those which are appropriate to the Minister and/or its committees; and, facilitates discussion and deliberation.

Initiates, develops, and maintains cooperative relationships with key Sectors.

Providing quality customer service.

Working in a professional environment.

Performing any other tasks assigned by the minister on the basis of laws, regulations and objectives of organization.

Job Requirement:

Prospective Executive Officer should have a Bachelor Degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration and any other related fields with 4 years’ experience in related field.

Past work experience with the Government, donors or donor funded projects in the context of Government Line Ministries.

S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in Dari, Pashto and English.

Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, hardworking and interpersonal skills

S/he must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint and etc.
