1. Scope of Work

Control and Sets up and operates machine to bend 6” to 24” carbon steel pipes to angle or contour specified by work order, drawings, templates, or layout:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Positions and clamps end stops on machine to set specified location of bend.
• Inserts or screws plug stops into guide wheel to set specified degree of bend.
• Locks holding clamp and guide clamp onto work piece.
• Able to understand technical drawing.
• Training of bending machine to the AGE staff.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minim Bachelor Degree in relevant field
• Familiar with pipeline standards API and ASME
• Familiar with the Caterpillar pipe bending machine.
• 5 years’ experience in the field of pipeline bending machine operator.
• Prepare plan correction reports.
• Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Training ability of bending machine

Skills and Abilities:

• Good leadership, communication and inter-personal skills, with demonstrable ability
• to motivate others.
• Fluent in English.
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office.
• Identify and define technical and administrative problems, identify and evaluate
• alternative solutions, and select and implement the best alternative
• Prepare plan correction reports
• Review proposed projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively in oral and written form
• Knowledge of pipeline construction methods and technologies in API and ASME standards.
• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contract.
