Job Summary:

The Public Relations Expert will be responsible for developing PR policy for the TAPI Project Office/MoMP in order communicate key messages related to the development of the TAPI Gas Pipeline Project to the project stakeholders and media channels. He/she will also be responsible for developing a mechanism to closely collaborate with the government and private sector entities in order to establish goodwill and understanding between TAPI Project Office and stakeholders of the TAPI Gas Pipeline Project.

Languages:

High command in written and spoken Dari/Pashto and English languages.

Computer Skills:

Competency with MS-Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare Public Relations policy for the TAPI Project Office both at central and sub-national levels

Develop six months and yearly action plan for the implementation of the media/PR policies and programs

Maintain durable communication with PR Directorate of MoMP, stakeholders, and media agencies.

Attend all meetings and gatherings related to TAPI Gas Pipeline project that require media coverage

Identify and prepare annual budget for implementation of PR activities

Plan and organize public outreach programs to create and maintain a favorable public image of the TAPI Gas Pipeline Project.

Create and deliver press releases, media content, billboards, booklet, brochure etc., corporate newsletter content and social media content.

Lead development of a media campaign to raise public awareness about TAPI Gas Pipeline Project in different provinces.

Preform any other duty assigned by supervisor in accordance with the laws, regulations and objective of the TAPI Coordination Office/MoMP.

Qualifications:

At least bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Mass Media, Communication, Journalism, International Relations or any other closely-related field. Preference will be given to the candidates with higher studies. The candidate shall have at least 5 years’ experience of working in related field. Preference will be given to the candidates with additional years of experience.
